Built a volunteer shift calendar for our food bank

Sixty volunteers, one calendar, no phone tree.

Our coordinator used to call people to fill Saturday shifts. Volunteers now claim a slot themselves and get a reminder the evening before. Turnout on Saturdays went from roughly half the slots filled to nearly all of them.

Bolt built it from a photo of the paper rota. The thing I got wrong: I assumed everyone had a smartphone. Four of our most reliable volunteers do not, so the coordinator can still claim a slot on someone's behalf.
