Question
Claude Code ignores my CLAUDE.md rule about not touching tests
CLAUDE.md says "never modify files in tests/ unless asked". Every third session it edits a test to make it pass.
What I’ve tried
Rewrote the rule in caps, at the top. Marginal improvement.
Does the rule say what to do instead? "Never modify tests" plus "if a test fails, stop and tell me" works much better than the prohibition alone. sergio_ruiz · edited
