New seating plan in ten seconds, with the rules respected.

You set the constraints once, which students must not sit together and which need to be near the front, and it generates a plan that honours them. Drag to adjust, print, done. Six teachers at my school use it now.

v0 did the drag-and-drop grid. The surprise was that pure randomness feels unfair to students, because the same person lands at the back twice in a row. It now tracks previous plans and spreads positions over the term.
