Small nonprofit, 300 users, PDFs in storage.

For you: storage (1 GB) long before database (500 MB) or bandwidth. PDFs add up fast. Compress on upload, set a size limit in the bucket, and set the spend cap so 'hitting the limit' means 'uploads fail', not 'a bill arrives'.
